Stephen Moyer in Lilies (2007)

Tough, sexy, funny and heartbreaking, Lilies details the lives of Iris, May and Ruby Moss – sisters coming of age in a dockland terrace house. Familial love sustains them, and their fortunes are bound to those of their brother and their father.
Set in the years immediately following the First World War, Lilies pulls no punches in its storytelling.
It depicts a sensual, vivid and sometimes savage world, where life is lived on the breadline, yet fuelled by various kinds of love. All three girls must make their own way in the world.
Mr Brazendale (Stephen Moyer)
Wealthy and respected, he lives in thrall to his beautiful and fragile wife, Madeleine. When Madeleine’s obsessions spiral out of control, his marriage becomes an instrument of torture. His struggle to balance being a good husband with being a good man leads him to the brink of self-destruction.

Stephen Moyer appears on ITV 'This Morning'.
The vampire series, True Blood became one of the most talked about dramas in years.
Filled with sex-crazed vampires, a telepathic waitress, a shape shifting bar man and blood-addicted hillbillies, the show as caused quite a stir!
Stephen stars as a 173 year old vampire and tormented soul, Bill Compton has become the tastiest vampire around.
"I love playing him," says Stephen. "I love his back story; he was a civil war soldier. He had kids and was forced to leave them, It gives you a sense of this man who has to feed on blood, but it's the last thing he wants to do. He is profoundly moral too so has no qualms about killing if it's for the right reason."
Stephen explains: “He's a romantic, old fashioned gentleman who also happens to be a vampire. Bill is this tortured soul. He's a pariah in terms of the humans because he's a vampire but to the vampires he's "mainstreaming" by mixing with humans and they ostracise him too."
